There was no Nigerian artiste that had as much media coverage as WizKid last week, this was to be expected. It was the week that was preceding the Wiz Kid Album Launch. From critical reviews to interviews to album sales, Wiz kid had his hands full in the second of week of June.

The Wizkid album launch that took place at the popular Eko hotel and suites on the 12th of June cost revellers N5,000 for a standard ticket, N25,000 for VIP and N350,000 for a table. Despite the high ticket prices, the turnout was quite impressive. Attendees saw performances from other popular artistes like M.I, Banky W, 9ice, Skales, Muna, DBanj, Young six, Lynxx, Brymo and a host of other acts. With a successful Album launch and an American and European tour in the pipelines, it looks like WizKid’s career is heading for a successful lift off.
