Timaya and Bracket in NYC – The Save Africa Concert

New York, April 17, The Save Africa Concert against AIDS Series was a success, going by the attendance – over 600 people, and all V.I.P. tables were sold out.

The show which is part of a US tour, will reach Chicago, Texas, and Los Angeles, was put together by Tuffgig, Tropical Grill, Concord Express, N-Unite, Africalabash Ent.

The New York concert was held at the grand and spacious 630 ballroom in Manhattan, NY. Of course the main artist were Timaya, and Bracket. The host was Tony-One-Week (Don’t ask me why). The show had supporting artists like: T-Money, Oshine, Smash Ent & Ketcha……a lot more to mention, but I only remember the relevant ones….lol !

DJ AFOO was on the ones-and-twos, he provided great music throughout the night.

I must however add that, there were a few altercations after the event, spilling into the parking lots – blame it on the alcohol, and ego

Present at the event was Nigerian born Super-model, Oluchi Onweagba, and Katura graced the occasion with their pressence

I think the show was a huge success with a mixture of Africans coming together, and yeah, a whole lotta fine babes

Concert was amazing. Timaya def. had that energy…
as for bracket….well they tried sha.
But the real show was the fight that went on @ the parking garage.
Nigerian men disgust me! How can you stand there and let a married woman also a mother of 3, get beat up? after that night, i had NO words.

the concert sucked, and the dudes there were acting STUPID, some dude tried to fight a girl and another one tried to spit on her this happened right in the middle of bracket's performance..anyone who went knows it was the dude wearing the burberry hat, him and his 'boyfriend' wore matching burberry shirts too lmao!. The 'VIP' section was in front of the stage, and there were MAD old people there. The only good part was the comedians. But hey at least it was for a good cause ( i hope), but $60 to get in the door was a force, im a college student!

the dude who was flying mucous everywhere really had the audacity to start hugging up on some other chick, and im thinking ' hello???? did u not see him just disrespect that girl? what makes u think he wont do the same to you? SMH, the whole 'concert' was a HOT mess and everyone who attended looked a hot mess too, i mean c'mon denim skirts and big dereon/babyphat handbags? really? i thought i was at a kenyan party for a minute…
