A Legacy Continued | Nigerian Youth Organization of Boston

by Dipo Agoro on July 19, 2010

The 15th Annual Nigerian Youth Organization Cookout has been an on-going success for the past 14 years, and the 15th was definitely the one to continue to connect the Nigerian youths in the Boston area. Every year, youth and adults alike gather at the Franklin Field to enjoy in each other’s company and to catch up on past happenings. The NYO is a reunion of some sorts, as many are just coming from college for the summer. The event went on without a hitch,….except for the RAIN that didn’t allow the event to really start until it stopped around 4pm. A Big Thank You to the organizers and sponsors, Mrs. Ibeabuchi and her family, The Sonuyi Family, The Muyide Family and many other families. The Afrodesia City Ladies Wunmi Akinwunmi and Mo Osinubi put together a great cookout, Shoutouts to the performers and the cooks who never allowed my plate to be empty icon biggrin A Legacy Continued | Nigerian Youth Organization of Boston . The cookout ended with dancing, full bellies and happy faces. See you next year
