NIGERIAN BASKETBALL TEAM WINS FIRST GAME AT LONDON 2012

Despite being called the underdogs prior to the game, the Nigerian Basketball team, the Tigers won their first Olympic Basketball game against African Champions Tunisia. The Tigers are competing in their first Olympics after they upset Dominican Republic to qualify. The game against Tunisia was very tight and ended 60 -56.

CLOSE SHAVE: The Nigerian Tigers narrowly defeated Tunisia 60-56

In a nervy game, the Tigers struggled to convert free throws and were very suspect with 3 pointer attempts. It remains to be seen how the team will perform in the rest of games in their group. They are grouped with U.S.A, Lithuania, France, Argentina and Tunisia.
