The Save Africa Concert Foundation for AIDS Relief (SAC-AIDS) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2000 in the US and Nigeria built on mobilizing local communities around entertainment as a tool to raise awareness about and prevent HIV/AIDS.
The main mission of SAC-AIDS is to reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS through comprehensive prevention programming, utilizing behavior change education as well as entertainment as a form of community mobilization and education “edutainment”.

There will be different contests every week (for the next 10 weeks), with new contest announced on FreeiPodFridays, so you can win more than once .
For this week we will take all the comments from the week’s posts and select one winner every Friday.

What Do I have to do to win?

In order to win, all you have to do is contribute by commenting on posts between now and Friday November 13 2009. If the comments are approved you have an entry in that week’s contest!

Hey. I definitely need the ipod. I'm always in school or at the gym. And I have no music to entertain and come on, what would the world be with music. Also we are in a recession, so even getting a dime would be favored…lol. Never to think of a FREE IPOD. I really need an ipod. Thanks.

Y'al don't even know the meaning of this recession and what it means to go without!!! I'm a single mother here, lost my job 8 months ago because I was helping takkia my elder grandmother with heart complications! I paid $30,000 last year to get my education and I'm graduating magna cum laude this December – first ever in my family history to earn a college degree and NOBODY in my family can attend my graduation ceremony cos of work and the travel expenses is too much… Also, I study a major that requires a master's before I can get a job in my field, so even though I've applied for over 120 jobs, I have not had a single interview!!! Meanwhile, I am still pressing toward success, rather than get discouraged. This Christmas, I want to give an iPod to my son… and this would be a nice way to come about getting one since I can't afford it otherwise! It would not only be a pleasure, but a real honor to have this gift to share with him on Christmas day and see his eyes light up…….
