 Force Afrik presents...African dance Exhibition

The WaSaNiFu dance group won the top prize at the ADX

The African dance Exhibition by Force Afrik took place on saturday september 26th, a gloomy day of endless rain. Nevertheless, the show must still go on, and Amebor will “mind your bizness” rain, sleet, hail or snow!

Created with the sole purpose of promoting the African culture in the U S of A, Force Afrik believes the best way to transfer culture is through the Art of Dance The event which was held at the George Washington’s Lisner Auditorium was hosted by Sophy Aiida and Stephen Munabo. It featured a dance competion, fashion show and artist performances. The night was filled with beautiful models struting sexy designs of the likes of Cote Minou, great musical performances, and best of all were the dancers. They were magnificent! At the end of the day, there could be only one winner, and the winning team was…The WaSaNiFu dance group. (See Video Below)

Congrats to Karine Zekam and Azocha Nkobena of Force Afrik for putting together a well organized and entertaining event, and look out for ADX 2010 which is in the works.
