Amebor.com was invited to “Elements of Pose” as V.I.P guests by our great friend/ (Fashionista Mrs. Saran Kaba Jones - Executive director of Face Africa) on Saturday, July 18, 2009.

This show was produced by Adiree Fashion Agency; – a fully integrated, result driven company that focuses on fashion event production, organization, and consulting for small to medium size fashion clients in the New york, NY and White Plains area.

For a company that has been around for only 5months, the work displayed on this day was simply remarkable. Amebor.com did not know what to expect as the last two fashion shows we covered in VEGAS and BOSTON respectfully were confusing (to say the least) as some of the models, designers and producers would have been better off running around with wild animals in a circus ring icon smile Element of Pose [Fashion Show]

- The Venue, THEPARKNYC was pretty unusual to hold a fashion show as it was obviously a restaurant, we thought. Upon walking into the restaurant, nature was all around us. We stood still and admired the architecture, until a lovely lady greeted us and asked us to follow her upstairs to a penthouse that opens up to a rooftop patio. This was certainly an impressive location for private entertaining. As most other fashion shows that we have attended, we expected the noir ambience to be dominated by low-key lighting, filled with deep shadows, creating feelings of bliss but to our surprise it was bright, SUNNY, it was clear as day. The set up, decor and ambience was quite inviting, the host – somewhat nervous yet comical, the models – hmmmm! well, lets just say that some were well trained and some needed a little bit more work. We are pleased, however, to report that we did not run into any model with one feet longer than the other as we did at the last Boston fashion show we attended……

Designers – The event was showcased with 6 different designers ( Prajje Couture, April Marin, Sparklle Thames, Attache couture, Anita Huntt and Project Runwayfinalist – KORTO MOMOLU) One thing we must admit is that we appreciate each and every designers collection as we respect the amount of work that went into a production such as this. The designers gave us some preppy styles, some soft swaggy looking designs, thick-knit apparels, wool-like blazer on guys, classic suits on some of the ladies, and some other lines displayed rebellious and rumpled collections which were all unique but equally tasteful. We at Amebor.com appreciate people with good sense of fashion and this event encapsulates alot of what a semi-industry should be doing. Hats off to Adiat Disu (Owner) for putting together a wonderful show. It was well produced despite the newness of the company, i guess 5yrs of Adiat’s event planning experience did not go to waste. Kudos!

For next time though, we recommend the producers of Adiree Fashion Agency to get in touch with AMEBOR.COM for proper advertisement against their next event. We will make sure that they get the publicity that they well deserve. All we want to do is *mind your bizness* icon smile Element of Pose [Fashion Show]
