Earlier on twitter today, it was reported that Akon’s version of Wizkid’s famous “Don’t Dull” (off his superstar album) was leaked. The full version of the remix is yet to be released, but take a moment to listen to the song below, and tell us what you think about this collaboration. Already critics are saying that DJs have been playing this track in Atlanta clubs for about 4 months and that the supposed leak is just a DJ mix. But despite this, I am still curious at the fact that Akon’s voice and lyrics seems to follow the flow of the song.

For some of you that had the time to read the post (and watch the video) on P-Square’s interview during their visit to the U.K, my question will not come as a shock. However to the individuals that did not get the chance to watch the video, I’m using this opportunity to ask your opinion on Naija artists collaborating with American (Yankee) artists.

Do you think this is a step forward in the Nigerian music industry, or do you see it as a bit of a set-back? P-Square complained during their interview that certain American musicians are not willing to open their doors to international artists, and that the level of respect between international ( most importantly in this case African ) and American artist is not mutual.
