The truly exceptional African stage play titled “Dollars “n” Sense was held at Morgan State university’s state of the art Murphy fine arts center on Saturday September 19th 2009, and I have to say I’m glad I didn’t miss it.
The show started off with Jedi, the funny man himself who had the audience rolling off their chairs with laughter. Right after that, the play began. The play, of which was a comedic genre was about an African man visiting the United States for the very first time with extremely high hopes, only to be hit smack dab with reality. He had to realize that not only were African morals and values very different from those of the states, but also that no mater where in this world, one has to be diligent and hard working to achieve phenomenal success.
At the end of the play, there were performances by Cameroun star “Paco Collins”, and the N.E.A. award winning all male sensational group “Mambo”
After the show, came the afterparty which was hosted by Gfem promos productions and held at the exclusive Ginza Lounge.
Dollars “n” Sense was written, produced & directed by Stonefield entertainment’s ceo Edikan “EDY’ Bassey.
