The video for the internet-released single “TENO” was shot in April, 2012 over two days in Maryland, USA. The visual direction was a collaborative effort by the amazing pair Champion Studios and P.K Design to bring Margaret-Mary Joseph aka Zara Gretti’s vision to life. The super duper glam squad Nkechi Nchaos, Cheryl Ukegbu (Amaka Consultants), Beatrice Travers-Brown, and Immah Bundu worked seamlessly to bring the styling vision to life with contributions from other young talented Africans in the DMV area – Akeyno accessories, Aral Amore, Lucci Zera and Shako’Ju clothing. ToluMide, Ogee’s Place, Duncan Daniels, Nollege Wisdumb, Benny Bekro and more friends showed to support and eat plenty rice and meat… hehehe!

From the mechanic shop, junk yard to the streets of Maryland, be expectant of a fun and exciting video.

A 33-year old man poured hot water on his daughter’s private part, damaging parts of her vagina, for licking soup in the pot. The incident happened in Ikorodu area of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.

The girl, a 14-year old Junior Secondary School II student (name withheld) is currently undergoing treatment at a government hospital while the father, Mr. Solarin Muyiwa has been arrested by the Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, WAPA, and will be arraigned in court soon.

There were deep wounds on her body caused by the hot water being poured on her. His reason for this act of cruelty was that she licked soup from the pot. According to the girl, she was given 50 naira for the day and she wanted to taste the soup to see if it was hot or not.

At first, the father beat her with a wooden stick and told her stepmother to heat some water when the wife reported to him that she caught the girl stealing from the soup pot. It was that hot water he poured into a plastic and ordered his daughter to put her hands inside. His wife also confirmed that he asked her to boil the water and after that, he asked the girl to put her hands inside the water, but she didn’t know what happened after that because her baby was crying and she had to go nurse the baby.
