As we all know, the famous Nigerian R&B singer is expecting his 6th child from his long-term girlfriend. Even though he has 5 other kids by three different women, TuFace doesn’t believe he is a womanizer. He explains further in a recent interview he had with E Express.

“I didn’t get this from my father. My father is not a womanizer. That I know. I have never caught my father with another woman. He is very faithful to my mother. I am also not a womanizer. Yes it happens that I have more women in my life. It is the price I have to pay for being a star. I didn’t plan to have more than one woman in my life. I didn’t plan my life to be the way it is now but no regrets. I love my kids. Right now, I have three women in my life who have five kids for me (and expecting a 6th one) and I sincerely don’t know how I’m able to cope with three women. Fela had over two dozen wives but I’m not Fela. I can never be another Fela. I have three women but I’m saying a big NO to Fela’s kind of polygamy. I don’t even know what these women see in me. I used to look into the mirror sometimes and wonder what it is that they see in me.”

Help me out here guys. I mean, this guy obviously studied “Akpako knacking-ology” in school and I heard he even got a PHD in it , so how come he doesn’t see himself as a womanizer? I hate to break it to you hun, but you messed with more than one woman and that only means one thing – You are a womanizer! I’m still a big fan though .. The guy makes great music!

A couple of weeks ago, Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh, revealed a picture of the “controversial tattoo” on her back, which caused media uproar. In a recent interview with Golden Icons, she talked about her love for tattoos because she wishes to be like the american rapper, Lil Wayne. What I don’t understand is why she said she couldn’t remember how old she was when she got her first tattoo, she can’t be that old! She also talked about God, her family and her girl crush who happens to be another actress – Rita Dominic.

I couldn’t help but laugh and shake my head in pity when she said “Al Pacino is an act and not an actor!” *Blank stare moment* If you guys can withstand the phony accent, you might just enjoy the interview.

Amebor recently did an interview with NEA nominee for “most promising act to watch”, ZARA. We asked Zara some interesting questions that I am sure many of her fans out there will want to know. Check out the interview below, and the video for her latest single “Aboko Ku”.

1. To begin with, tell us how you got into music. And what/who would you say has been your biggest motivation so far?

My entrance into music was by “happenchance”. In the summer of 2006, my friend Keno Kenett pulled me into the studio to do back ups for him. In the process I did a rap verse and left it at that. Eldee the don heard the verse and told me to consider doing music because I sounded great. This was how I tapped back into “poetry writing me” of the past and worked with producer friends and started recording.

My biggest motivation so far is my love for creating, performing and my determination. I’m nowhere close to that artiste I would like to be and I work on it daily.

2. In the entertainment industry, and in any industry in general, one is bound to face certain struggles. What would you say has been your biggest struggle in the music industry?

I’m glad you note say struggle yaapa for life no be only entertainment industry.

I will say my biggest struggle has been maintaining that balance between work (which is my music) and everything in between. I am driven by my career but I try to make time for a personal life.

3. With fans of course comes people who don’t like your music, or what we call “haters”. How do you personally deal with critics and even “constructive criticism”?

Oh wow… I’ll tell you with all honesty, I don’t recognize “hate”. I understand that folk will always try to express themselves, and I believe they are free to. If they are being malicious in the process, it’s to ignore them and keep doing what I do, I’m down for constructive criticism as well but at day’s end, in regards to your creative work, the most important voices come from within. Even after ALL the professional input.

4. You were recently signed with Alapomeji Records, (9ice’s record label) but it came to our attention that you made the decision to leave the label. Can you tell us what went wrong with that deal?

Nothing went wrong with the deal. Business decisions were re-evaluated and we mutually agreed to part ways.

5. You also were recently nominated for the Nigerian Entertainment Award (NEA) as one of the most promising acts to watch. Explain to us what exactly this nomination/recognition means for you

The category “Most Promising Act to Watch” is a powerful one because it shows that my hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed. It also inspires me to achieve a LOT more. Promises are meant to be kept, and promising acts must to blow by God’s grace, Amen

6. And last but not least, what advice would you give to aspiring artists who also hope to be stars, not just in Nigeria, but on an International level?

Put God first, find humility if you don’t have it, believe in yourself, have a great team, and work work work!

This up and coming gospel sensation is ready to leave her unwavering mark on the world. ANU, whose real name is Anuoluwapo Oyeneyin Osilesi, has always utilized the gift of singing to raise the Kingdom of God. The Nigerian born, Ondo town native, Anu has been singing since she was still in diapers. Her family and close friends can testify that singing has always been her love and passion.
So what other way is there to thank the Creator that has blessed her with such a gift, than to sing praises to his awesome name. Her name Anu, signifies the power of restoration through Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 states “therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.” The power of restoration is unshakable and breaths permanence. Join her in her wonderful journey as we chronicle her music. ENJOY

AsakeOge Couture was founded by Asake Agoro in Lagos, Nigeria. AsakeOge Couture officially launched in 2009 at the London Metropolitan Fashion and Dance Charity Show. Asake is a 3rd generation seamstress who grew up creating and wearing her own designs by the young age of 15. In recent times, Asake was the recipient of the 2010 Best Female Fashion Designer for the BEFFTA Awards in the UK and was also a runner-up for the African Tourism Awards. We here at AMEBOR congratulate Asake and AsakeOge Couture on the accomplishments. Doing what we do best, we decided to mind her business….

AMEBOR: Tell us @ amebor about Asake Couture, when was it launched and what inspires your designs? Also when did you decide fashion was your calling?

ASAKE: Asakeoge was launched at the London Metropolitan Business School Charity Fashion show when I was asked to come up with a collection for the event. Prior to that I had been designing and making outfits for friends and family. I was always making clothes for my dolls when I was little and had a toy sewing machine aged a 8 which had to be replaced three times cos I used it so much !
My grandmother, mother and three aunties were seamstresses so I guess Fashion has always been in my blood and I guess its just something I came into naturally.
I am inspired by a lot of random things, artwork, nature, but the designers who have inspired me most are Vivienne westwood, Alexander McQueen & Yemi Osunkoya of Kosibah Creations.

AMEBOR: Out of all your masterpieces, which dress takes the cake as the hottest one you’ve ever designed?

ASAKE: That’s a difficult question as I love all my dresses. I recently lost 12 pieces from the 2011 collection and was absolutely devastated! I felt like I had lost 12 children! Fortunately I was able to recover them. The pieces from the couture collection are my favorites as each one tells a story. The fact that they are one offs also make them extra special

AMEBOR: Wow amazing that you found them. Congratulations on winning the BFTTA Award for Best Female Designer. what emotions ran through you when you found out you won? Who was the first person to gave the good news to?

ASAKE: That’s one of my most memorable moments this year, and I had some of my family and friends there. I was really happy to know my designs had found resonance with so many people and since it was by voting it is thrilling to know I have so many fans out there.

AMEBOR: Congratulations again…So now, what is the next for for Asake Couture? What should we be expecting from you?

ASAKE: We have launched our ready to wear line, which is currently available on the website. The plan for the future is to expand into a full lifestyle brand with menswear, accessories, beauty products etc.

AMEBOR: Ok, now that we know all about Asake Couture, tell us a lil about Asake. What do you do for fun, on a day off? What else excites you other than fashion?

Last year she blessed with us her hit track: “Ikebe Na Money” and this time she is back with a new track called “Who go be my man?”
The video is similar to the first video she did. A$$ flashing, Pervy men checking her out and all that unchoreographed booty shaking!

I came across a new, refreshing line while trying to find what to wear for the summer and especially for the NRC Reunion in New York. Thru my search I noticed Motherland Krooks, a line started by philanthropist and designer, Seyi Sowunmi which captured and blended urban and african influences. Being an amebor I decided to interview him and find out more…..CHK it Out

AMEBOR» When did you launch MK?
MK»‎Motherland Krooks started in 2007

AMEBOR» What inspired you to start this line?
MK» First of, I will like to say thank you for this interview. The inspiration comes from my interest in fashion and passion for africa. I wanted to find a way to differentiate how clothing

AMEBOR»No doubt, we appreciate ethnic fashion and what they bring to the community.‎ Where did the concept for MK come about?
MK»As an African, one can help to notice how corrupt are countries are. Corruption, hunger and poverty are top issues in Africa and I want to capture these issue through clothing. Motherland-of course refers to the continent of Africa and Krooks – refers to the people that are causing and not preventing the top issues

AMEBOR»‎Of course you know @ amebor we are in your bizness, Tell us about the “Stop The Krooks Foundation”.
MK»‎Well, that’s a project we have created to execute the purpose of motherland krooks Inc. We currently just collaborate with non for profit organization as we hope to do more of out own projects to help the problems facing Africa.

AMEBOR»‎So you are a designer/philanthropists, we need more people like you in our world. So now to minding who Seyi Sowunmi is? Where are you from other than Naija?
MK»‎I am from The Bronx, New York.

AMEBOR»‎The home of Fat Joe and them, cool cool…so what is a typical day in the life of Seyi like?
MK»My days are pretty unpredictable, but a typical day will be going to the office in the morning, then trying go to class in the afternoon. I usually pick up ideas for new designs during the day. When I get back on campus I start designing, promoting or studying. Sometimes both. ‎I don’t sleep till I’m able to get ideas out my head by sketching or research.

AMEBOR» ‎We see from your designs that your hard work has really paid off, congratulations, where can we purchase Motherland Krooks designs??
MK»‎Thanks. We just launched the Motherland Krooks website with the online store. Anyone can get their hands on our design by simply logging on HERE

Check out what “Tha Viper” had to say

1. Tell us a bit about yourself?

I am a Rapper, Good one at that. I don’t believe in the “crowd movement,” that meaning everybody headed towards the same direction at the same time. I am a graduate of the “philosophy department” from the University of Lagos.

2. How did you get the name “Vector tha Viper” and what does it mean?

There is many meaning to Vector, but one meaning describes it the most. It means that the magnitude and directions of hip-hop, and also that I am the virus carrier and if anyone wants some of this I will infect them.

3. Who would you say is your all time favorite artist?

My all time favorite artist would be Shawn Carter. I like his talent, and I can relate to his thoughts way beyond what ordinary people can relate to. I also like Ludacris, and Afro-Beat (Fela)

4. Describe your style of music and the message you are trying to send to your listeners?

My style of music is just “making good music.” Hip-hop is the instrument of making good music or can be considered as Afro-hip-hop, but I most consider my style of music just as making good music.

5. What made you want to become an artist?

Funny enough the story is when I was growing up there was these sets of guys that played around with hip-hop; they were followers of ice cube and famous hip-hop artist and that inspired me to want to do it myself. It looked easy and I began finding out what hip-hop truly meant. Also when I was 13 an undiscovered group called S.O.S had said Nigerian slogan for the new drink called “Zobo” Which was the first Rhythm I’ve ever heard, which goes like this “Zobo is our new logo.” He got the Rhythm out of that and figured I can do the same.

6. What hip-hop artist would you compare yourself too?

“Nobody” I am original.

7. Can you tell us about your debut album which you are currently working on? Which song would you say is currently your favorite?

There are so many songs that I would like to call my favorite, giving kudos to the production company YSG, I would have to say that they have curved the new edge of who I am becoming and who I can be. The album is going to be a straight up surprise. Even for me some of the songs I have recorded even surprises me on how amazing the album will be.

*Do you think your music has made it in Mainstream yet?

Vector is not a new name in Nigeria nor is it a new name in American currently.

Songs such as “Kiloda,” “Warm and Close” and “I love you Nigeria” is being promoted in the United as well as in Nigeria. YSG is trying to get it in to the mainstream across the world. “YSG is international!!!”

8. What song would you say is the most influential song you’ve made thus far?

We are all about the movement so the song called the “Movement” ft. Sister Soul and “I love you Nigeria” (ILN) I would have to say is the yesterday, today and tomorrow of music. “ILN” is the only song that is in its self form Nigeria about Nigeria.

9. If you could work with anyone in the music industry that out right now, who would it be?

- I would work with Jay-Z just in order to set the record straight that we are not the same, but I seriously would love to be on a track with “2-Face.”

10. What is your opinion of where other artist’s music stands compared to yours and where do you feel your style of music will stand out amongst the rest?

With my music I am trying to reach a wider audience not just the Nigerian community but around the world. My music is for everyone who can relate to it.

Bonus Question: Is there anything you would like to say to the readers?

“I come in Peace” does not work. To the readers, I want them to know that I’ am what hip-hop is, what hip-hop was and what hip-hop will be. Holla!!!

Amebor.COM!!! You guys are doing greatly in what you do; you are taking Nigerian music to where it needs to be. Ya’ll is doing a good Job. And you guys show the good side of what the media is showing about Nigeria.
