Now, for many that aren’t familiar with Warri’s very own yung6ix, let me assist you in getting a bit familiarized. Yung6ix, or as he refers to himself, “6ix” is a rising artist, hailing from Warri, or what is known to him and his fans as “Waff City”. 6ix first gained widespread recognition when he released his own freestyle to Ice Prince’s very famous “Oleku” single. I myself must admit that I was impressed with the artist, and have kept an eye on him since then. He also partnered with Wizkid to produce another single titled “Follow me Go”. It has been established that the upcoming artist is working on his mixtape titled “Green White Green”. He has also on different occasions, spoken on working in the studio with Nigeria’s Rap star “M.I”. I believe it is safe to say that we’ll be seeing more of him as time goes by. Today, he released a pair of freestyle videos “No Where”, and “I’m on One”. Check the out the videos’ and leave your thoughts.

Amebor recently did an interview with NEA nominee for “most promising act to watch”, ZARA. We asked Zara some interesting questions that I am sure many of her fans out there will want to know. Check out the interview below, and the video for her latest single “Aboko Ku”.

1. To begin with, tell us how you got into music. And what/who would you say has been your biggest motivation so far?

My entrance into music was by “happenchance”. In the summer of 2006, my friend Keno Kenett pulled me into the studio to do back ups for him. In the process I did a rap verse and left it at that. Eldee the don heard the verse and told me to consider doing music because I sounded great. This was how I tapped back into “poetry writing me” of the past and worked with producer friends and started recording.

My biggest motivation so far is my love for creating, performing and my determination. I’m nowhere close to that artiste I would like to be and I work on it daily.

2. In the entertainment industry, and in any industry in general, one is bound to face certain struggles. What would you say has been your biggest struggle in the music industry?

I’m glad you note say struggle yaapa for life no be only entertainment industry.

I will say my biggest struggle has been maintaining that balance between work (which is my music) and everything in between. I am driven by my career but I try to make time for a personal life.

3. With fans of course comes people who don’t like your music, or what we call “haters”. How do you personally deal with critics and even “constructive criticism”?

Oh wow… I’ll tell you with all honesty, I don’t recognize “hate”. I understand that folk will always try to express themselves, and I believe they are free to. If they are being malicious in the process, it’s to ignore them and keep doing what I do, I’m down for constructive criticism as well but at day’s end, in regards to your creative work, the most important voices come from within. Even after ALL the professional input.

4. You were recently signed with Alapomeji Records, (9ice’s record label) but it came to our attention that you made the decision to leave the label. Can you tell us what went wrong with that deal?

Nothing went wrong with the deal. Business decisions were re-evaluated and we mutually agreed to part ways.

5. You also were recently nominated for the Nigerian Entertainment Award (NEA) as one of the most promising acts to watch. Explain to us what exactly this nomination/recognition means for you

The category “Most Promising Act to Watch” is a powerful one because it shows that my hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed. It also inspires me to achieve a LOT more. Promises are meant to be kept, and promising acts must to blow by God’s grace, Amen

6. And last but not least, what advice would you give to aspiring artists who also hope to be stars, not just in Nigeria, but on an International level?

Put God first, find humility if you don’t have it, believe in yourself, have a great team, and work work work!

Their marriage famously began with a scandal when Princess Charlene fled Monaco two days before the wedding after learning of her husband’s lovechild.
Ms Coste is the mother of Albert’s six-year-old love-child Alexandre. Prince Albert also fathered another daughter Jazmin, 19, with American estate agent Tamara Rotola and in both cases, DNA tests were needed before Albert admitted he was the father, and agreed to pay for their upbringings. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene married in July. Sources say they spent a night in separate hotels on their honeymoon.

“Instead of relying on a little blue pill to get things ready for the bedroom, the device, which looks a bit like a hair crimper, delivers targeted nerve stimulation to both dorsal and ventral surfaces of the penis using medical Softpads,” writes Gizmag.

The device will launch in the US after August 15, according to the website, and European sales will begin later this year. Price is $300. Only time will tell whether the device works.

He is known for his silky football skills and his vibrant celebratory dances, but it might come as a surprise to some to know that Asamoah Gyan also has a passion for music. The Sunderland and Ghana striker is heavily involved on the local music scene in his country and has featured in a number of hit songs.

The Gyan celebratory goal dance is well known in the World of Football.

In Ghana, a song called ‘African Girls’, which features the soccer star, is the song of choice for many. Speaking to the media, Gyan says: “Many European players play golf in their leisure time, I choose to record music.”

Despite his relative success as a recording artist, former Black Stars striker, Felix Aboagye has expressed his concern on the effect music might have on Gyan’s career.
“It’s important for him to understand that if he wants to get to the top, he must stop the music and concentrate on the game,” Aboagye said.

Speaking in defence of himself, Gyan said:
“I love music but it doesn’t mean I’m not focused on the football. I’m very, very focused because football made me who I am today. I can’t play jokes with my job because if you joke with your job, your job will joke with you. I’m not a musician but I love music.”
