Average or Excellent? You decide: D’Prince releases Omoba video

by Jide Ladipo on April 18, 2010

Last year, D’Prince one of the Mo-hits protégés came out with a banging single Omoba that ruled the airwaves in Nigeria for a very long time. Over the past six months, the song has made a worldwide voyage around the globe. With audiences across Europe and America receiving it with

Last week, after a long wait, Mo-hits finally released the video of one of their hottest prospects and it has since been getting mixed reviews.

The concept of the video is wrapped around royalty. IT was royalty drenched in an all Arab swagger. As usual, D’Prince professes himself as lieutenant, Don Jazzy as President, Wande coal as commodore and D’Banj as Governor and repeatedly asking us: Who I am?
The video features cameo appearances from Kel, Steele, Whizkid Ayo, Wande coal, D’Banj, Don Jazzy and some other Nigerian artistes.
Obviously, my opinion regarding the video will be subjective. I think the video was a bit of let down. Poor body language by D’Prince coupled with a video concept that looked well thought but wrongly executed made me come to this conclusion. If anything, the video is average. Saying all this, I sincerely hope my opinion does not influence yours. What do you think?
