“Sunkanmi Kehinde, better known by his stage name SUKIYAKI, is a Nigerian singer,rapper and producer born in the United kingdom and brought up in Lagos, Nigeria.
He started out in church choir when he was very young here he got his inital knowledge of music.Â
He began freestyling, writing lyrics at age 15, and followed the music of many artists popular like Michael Jackson, Jay-z, sisquo, Ja Rule, etc. To his friends, Sunkanmi was known as “Suki” the short form of his full name which he eventually developed into his stage name, “SUKIYAKI”.
